When you take out a service and maintenance with MPC, you can afford to sit back and relax.

Your septic tank, treatment plant or cesspool could break down at any time, leaving you with drains backed up or sewage seepage leaving you with a whole lot of hassle and potential cost to have it fixed. Sewage systems can be prone to breakdown and also require careful attention to prevent environmental pollution incidents.

Each year thousands of sewage treatment systems create public health and pollution problems. This avoidable form of pollution is often the result of poor effluent quality caused by maintenance neglect.

Environment agency (EA) legislation is in place to ensure standards are upheld. Where pollution is severe, heavy fines can be levied, and in extreme cases a custodial sentence imposed.

However, with a Service and Maintenance Plan from MPC it's a different story. We can care for systems of any age in good working order.

Why Gold Star Cover?

With Gold Star cover from MPC, if you have any problem, all you need to do is call us. We then send a fully trained experienced engineer out to you, normally on the same day.

PLUS you won't have to pay any additional charges for parts and labour, no matter how many times you call us out.

How much does it cost?

We'll look after your whole system from just £219 a year, or you can pay £55 quarterly by credit card.

When you opt for a service contract with MPC Services you can be assured of expert service/advice from a dedicated team of fully-qualified service engineers, 24-hours, 365-days a year. We provide nationwide coverage with a reliable, high-quality, efficient callout service.

Why do I need Service Cover?

Mechanical and electrical machinery is liable to failure in one form or another. STANDARD SERVICE AGREEMENT

What are the benefits of a Standard Service Agreement?

MECHANICAL TESTING

•  Mechanical test of following items when applicable:

All mechanical components, ie

•  Pumps for blockages, defects, oil leaks etc.

•  Hanging chains for corrosion.

•  Floats for current depth, operating stroke.

•  Pipework for splits, corrosion.

•  Check valve for correct operation.

•  Drive trains for alignment

•  Guide Rails

•  Bacterial processes for correct growth (Sewage Treatment Plant).

•  Physical test of lid, frame and surrounding area.

•  Visual inspection of the whole system for defects.

•  Any causes for concern put forward to customer.

•  Detailed Service Report provided.

ELECTRICAL TESTING

•  Electrical health check of pumps/motors etc via megga meter phase-to-earth and phase-to-phase. This is to build trends to determine any deterioration in electrical insulation.

•  Amps drawn via clamp meter to compare with manufacturers recommendations and electricity trip rating.

•  Voltage/current trace through components.

•  All panel components for integrity, duty assist/changeover operation.

•  Alarm tests when applicable for:

•  Pump Trip

•  Hi-Level

•  Loss of Pressure

•  Loss of Rotation

•  Loss of Power

 

OPTIONAL

•  Desludge Management - This helps to maximise efficiency of plant and keep within discharge consent levels. •  Sampling - Effluent quality samples via accredited laboratories.  

What is NOT Included in my Standard Service Agreement?

Warranty repairs labour. New components under manufacturers warranty to be installed at normal rates.

What Extra Service do I get with a Goldstar Total Maintenance Agreement?

In addition to the items covered in the Standard Service Agreement the following are also included:

•  Clearance of up to 2 third party blockages

What are the benefits of a Goldstar Total Maintenance Agreement?

The main benefit of the Goldstar Total Maintenance Agreement is simply ‘Fit & Forget'. You can relax in the knowledge that your plant is covered financially by competent staff ensuring environmental protection.

What is Not Included in my Goldstar Total Maintenance Agreement?

•  Faulty/intermittent power supply problems to the sewage treatment plant.

•  Effluent Samples

•  Carcass Integrity

•  Main RBC Stub Axles

•  Damage caused by faults on incoming drainage

How much will I pay for my Goldstar Total Maintenance Agreement?

Each Goldstar Agreement is individually priced according to a full survey of the equipment at your property.

About Your Agreement

How long will Service Contract last?

Your Agreement runs for 3 years from the date it begins (or is renewed) and commences upon receipt of your signed acceptance.
