Sales Manager Adrian ran Great North Run to raise over £1200 for Diabetes UK

On Adrian's birthday, 5th October 2008, he competed in the Great North Run to raise money for Diabetes UK for his friend Bill Matthews and his Granddaughter.

He was aiming to beat his time from 2 years ago and run the course in under 2 hours, and raise over £1000 to assist Bill in his quest to reach his target of £4000.

Adrian was delighted to finish in a personal best time of 1 hour 51 minutes and 53 seconds with a position of 7,728 out of 52,000 and raise over £1,200 in total for the charity.
