Monitor It
With the increased awareness of sensitive environmental issues, and after consultation with clients, it became apparent that certain sites, especially in remote locations, needed more monitoring than a routine service regime. Traditional Water Authority systems were considered prohibitively too costly to be installed on small sewage plants and pumping stations. With this in mind, Drainstore has developed a new range suitable to monitor all types of plant and equipment. This is called the SMS Shield Monitoring System. Unlike previous systems available on the market, our unique package enables us to offer clients a level of service previously unseen within the Private Sector, at a fraction of the cost of traditional systems. The equipment can be retrofitted to existing pumping stations, sewage plants and filterbeds, as well as built-in at design stage for new installations.
SMS Shield can be connected either directly to the customers’ phone system or to our state-of-the-art office computer via the mobile phone network. This gives instant notification of plant failure, informing us what has happened and when. We can then react to a situation quickly to ensure that inconvenience for our customers is kept to a minimum, and potential pollution incidents are controlled. Monitoring takes place 24-hours a day, 365 days a year with our on-call engineers being available to react to all situations usually within a few hours. Incorporated with one of our Gold Star maintenance packages this gives all our customers complete peace of mind. We also offer a full range of competitively priced alarm systems for fitting to new or existing plant. Within our range we supply:
