Drainstore.com has been servicing sewage treatment systems and pumping stations since the early 1990’s, and acquired accreditation as Klargester Certified Installers in 1998. From the outset it became apparent that clients required a low-cost, reliable service and maintenance package to compliment the investment made in their treatment plant or pumping station. This appealed to a wide spectrum of customers, ranging from a single domestic residence right through to large corporations. We currently work with over 25 Local Authorities and Housing Associations, many major PLC’s, national chains of Pub & Hotel Companies and Garden Centres. We also provide service packages for The National Trust, English Nature, Crown Estates and the Ministry of Defence. Experience of a more technical nature has been gained by working on petrol station, oil refinery and nuclear power station sites.
As treatment plants became more sophisticated, customers asked us to look at alternatives to the standard service contract, and with this in mind, in 1999 we launched the first Gold Star Service Plan. This meant that for a fixed annual fee, all service, repair and replacement costs for their treatment systems were covered, giving them complete peace of mind. This type of plan has continued to develop in line with customers’ growing requirements. Now our tailor-made packages are not only suitable for all types of sewage treatment plants and pumping stations, but can also include the provision for sludge removal, telemetry, monitoring and sampling. If as a customer you are responsible for a diverse selection of plant and equipment, Drainstore can maintain and manage all manufacturers’ sewage systems.
