KSB Evamatic Box installation instructions![]() These operating instructions contain fundamental information and precautionary notes. It is imperative to read the manual prior to installation of unit, electrical connection and commissioning. Operating instructions relating to individual components of this unit must also be complied with. Prior to any work carried out on the pump set, disconnect it from the all electrical supplies (including control cable) and/or remove the mains plug. Automatic Operating Mode. 1. General Safety Instructions for Maintenance, Inspection and Installation Work The entire plant must comply with the requirements of the standard EN 12050. The operator must take care that all maintenance, inspection and installation work is done by fully qualified and authorized personnel which must carefully study these operating instructions prior to the performance of this work. As a general rule, work on the equipment must be carried out only during standstill. Please observe all instructions set out in the chapter ”Commissioning” (see Operating instructions Pump) before returning the machine to service. The sewage lifting unit and its components must be inspected and maintained at least once a year. Systematically disconnect all electrical connections prior to work on the station or the pumps. For maintenance work, the pump(s) must be taken out of the tank. Access to the tank The following safety instructions must be adhered to without fail before climbing into the tank! 2. Connection to power supply Single pumping stations The single–phase pump sets are supplied complete with power supply cable and mains plug. Double pumping stations The three–phase pump sets do not come with a mains switch. Remove the protection on the cable end shortly before connection to power supply. The individual cores are marked at the end of the cable. If the cables have to be shortened, please note the markings and/or colours of the cores.
