Description 1,000 litre grease trap A 1,000 litre High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) grease trap which is designed for below ground installation.  Supplied with a single seal galvanised steel cover. This unit has a capacity of 1,000 litres. Dimensions Standard pipe invert 450mm Height 1500mm Diameter 1260mm Installation The range of small, underground grease traps are manufactured from robust polyethylene. They should be installed in a minimum of 150mm of concrete. Set them into a wet concrete base and then fill them with water before backfilling in the unit. If the units need extending to gain the appropriate invert then 250mm extensions are available at additional cost.  Please note if the invert is to be more than 600m then extensions should not be used but the chamber bricked up.
